Nelliie the Elephant

Nelliie the Elephant went to go pack her bags and then left the Circus
because it had burned down. She had left the Circus with her Best
Friend, who was a Tiger. Nellie, packed her Compass,
Money, Family Heirlooms and a large bag of her Favourite Peanuts.
She has been looking for a new home to stay at,
But she has not had that much luck yet.
She finally found a new home and she unpacked her stuff and went to
bed

My new house

On the weekend I went to my cousin's new house to help move some stuff into his new house. When we got to the old house we had to get the heavy box's and the piano because it was the heves and hard to move down the stairs. 

After we got it down we lifted it and put it in a truck that my family rented. When we finished packing everything into the truck My Dad, Uncle and I jumped in a headed to my cousin’s new house. When we arrived at the new house we sit everything up.

Book Week in Schools

This week was book week. There was a play performed in our school hall on tuesday.


The play was about the Treasure Hunt  that has been written by caig christie.


There were two tribes living on an island. These two tribes blamed each other for stealing each other song.


The Treeland tribe was led by George and the seaview tribe was led by Jessical these two characters teamed up to solve the problem about the lost treasure which was their song.

The problem was solved when they were able to put the torn map together and work out how to get to the treasure. They had to read three different books to solve the problem.


I really enjoyed this play because both of the characters were very smart and talented. They sang very well and were also very hilarous.

Thank you Sam and Lidia for coming to our school. I hope to see you again next year.

We learnt about how to budget and save money.
The other topics we learnt about were insurance,
borrowing and lending,identity theft mortgage,
trust and saving money.

Our tutors were Ema, Jane and matt from price
waterhouse and cooper Accountany firm. I
enjoyed all the sessions becauase the activities
were very exciting and
practical.

the first day of badminton

Today the Senior School had its first Kiwi Sport Session for this term.

Ben, from Auckland Badminton taught  us some badminton skills.
We used a badminton racket and a shuttle.

We learnt how to hit the shuttle using a forarm hit and backhand hit.
Ban also taught us how to hold the racket using different grips.

cultural festival

I am feeling very happy about taking part in cultural activities at school this term 

Today I picked two cultural groups that I want to be in.

My first choice was kiwi can jam and I picked Samoa as my second choice

On Saturday my cousin and I went to watch Aquaman. First we went to buy
popcorn and drinks. then we went to the theatre when we sat down on
our chairs we were so excited. to watch Aquaman the movie was amazing. 


When I turned around I saw my cousin sleeping so I just continued
watching Aquaman. When the movie was almost finished I got 
the popcorn container but their was no more popcorn.



When the movie was finished when we got into my cousin’s car
to go home. My cousin and I were talking about the
moive and I told my cousin that he was sleeping and
we started to laugh. When we got there we said bye to each other

Lily and the snow man

Once upon a time, there was a snowman. He was melting and his friend Lily, put him in the frige to keep him cold. He was feeling so happy that he found some were to sleep, then Lily got older and older. The girl started to not care about the snowmn and he was sad.

The girl had a job and a busy life. She bumped into her coffe and in to the light. The light shone on the snow globe and she remembered about the snowman. She rushed back to her old house to find her friend.

She watched a puppet show with her daughter and her snowman.

Today me and class went to life caravan and we learnt about body systems. On Monday we learnt about the liver. The liver has over 500 jobs. The liver sorts out the good and bad food.

Today my class learnt about kidneys. Kidneys are important because it cleans the blood if you don’t Drink Lots of water Your pee will be yellow. If you drink lots of water your pee will be clear.
